The BCD (Breast Compression Device) was developed by Dr. Richard Aronsohn, a board-certified plastic surgeon renowned for his contributions to the field, alongside his wife, Valerie Aronsohn.

Dr. Aronsohn was a pioneering reconstructive surgeon, founder and past president of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and a founding member of the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery. His work developing the BCD has helped thousands of patients manage and prevent capsular contracture in the years since its creation.
